Summoners War Rebel with a Cause

Summoners War continuously gets more heat as players around the globe point out more problems in the framework of the game. And sometimes, when a player gets pissed off due to the said problems, extreme courses of actions happen. Specially when that pissed-off player has mad skills.
At the top of forums, discussions, and social media groups is the buzz about what redditor allenc531 did: deployed a hundred bots across the Global, EU, and Asia servers and hacked their way to the top of arena rankings on tally day. You may find the reddit thread here.

Mayhem across all social media platforms was the result of the deed. And throughout all the chaos, you might have wanted to ask: "What good will come from this?"

As part of the Summoners War community, I can definitely say that it showed Com2US and the dev team one collosal problem which they have. People have already been filing complaints regarding hacks but they never paid attention, until today. Since the complaints came in massive numbers due to what happened, they can no longer turn a blind eye.

I do understand that such a radical act is not technically and/or ethically correct. However, I do believe that sometimes, such events are required in order to actually send the message across. And for that, I give salutations to allenc531: Not the hero we deserve, but the hero we needed right now.
