Flight Anti-Thesis 001

I am now a PILOT and Anti-Thesis Flight 001 is about to take off.

All of us have dreams from our childhood that we wish to accomplish. If you may recall, as a kid, you might have been asked what you want to be when you grow up and your answers are some kind of profession. Maybe your answer was "I want to be a doctor." or "I want to be an engineer." or something like that. Mine was something like "I want to be a pilot."

Now, I'm sure all of you have heard of that old saying,

"Make a living out of something you love doing

and you will never work again in your life."

I can't recall the name of the important person who coined that or something similar, but it really rubbed onto me while growing up. And I really wanted to achieve that. Funny enough, you find resolutions out of something unexpected. Fate has a way of doing that, don't you think?

About a week ago, I offered giving account piloting services for Summoners War. Glad to say that I'm doing okay within the first few days of it. I actually invested in some additional hardware a few hours ago, and it's starting to feel so much worth it. Getting payed to play really does sound nice.

Summoners War Developers Should Consider Adding this Feature

Well done for Summoners War Development and Admin Teams for the 4th Year Anniversary event. The game is god damn four years old. It's a toddler already guys. And similar to a toddler, it should be able to do a lot more stuff than before.

These days, if we are going to listen to majority of the SW gaming community, there are a lot of suggestions which they feel should make the game much better. And I'd like to join in on that discussion.

Summoners War Hot Issue - 100% Arena Win Rate Bug

There has been some grave issues regarding the game security of Summoners War. Apart from the hacking issues, the glitch/bug for 100% Arena win rate is another hot topic.

Summoners War Rebel with a Cause

Summoners War continuously gets more heat as players around the globe point out more problems in the framework of the game. And sometimes, when a player gets pissed off due to the said problems, extreme courses of actions happen. Specially when that pissed-off player has mad skills.

Summoners War Patch notes Jan 26 2018

Well, patchnotes are here and probably will make tremendous impact to the game.
There is a lot going on but if I may summarize it:

I'm back to blogging! Featuring Ramahan for my come-back post.

Yes indeed when I made my last posting on this blog page. It has been about a year from my last posting and I think I'm inspired again to write on this blog.

Thus, as they say... "Here we go again!" and go we shall.

So as an F2P heading back to blogging about summoners war, I'd like to share a video of one of the farmable monsters that's overlooked by about 99% of the players.

I'm talking about Ramahan, the Wind Inugami. He has a cool skill kit similar to Belladeon except for the Def-Based nuke 3rd skill - Smother. I understand that very few people use him but hey, check out his output in the try out video.

Tinkering with the Rune Management Feature: It's NIFTY

Com2US gave an update for Summoners War today regarding rune management.
They made an in-game tool which, in my opinion, is best described as NIFTY.
It has a very easy to understand user interface with all the necessary functions a Summoner would need during FRR (Free Rune Removal) day.
It took me just a few minutes to figure it out.
Check it right here at the video below.

RNGeezus Take the Wheel - The Beginning of Something Fun

As we all know, Random Number Generator aka RNG aka RNGeezus (Kryst) plays a certain amount of influence unto the game mechanics. With that in mind, I kinda got a crazy idea to have it play a larger influence.

How?

Let RNGeezus decide on what happens as we fight in our Tuesday afternoon Guild War. This started out as a crazy idea but hey, it turned out to be a fun way too. As proof, check the video right down there...

Oh, and don't forget to share and hit on the subscribe button. Don't let RNGeezus decide for that.
Haha. Wazzaaap!?

Anti-Thesis Writes again - Crystal Consumption: A comparison between refills and prem packs

It's been a long while since my last blog post. I've been kinda busy with stuff and all that.
But with my schedule being less hectic, I could write stuff again.
Thus, here we are.

To continue, I'd like to write about crystal usage in Summoners War.
There has always been a discussion on how to wisely use crystals.
Two among these uses are:

Use them for energy refills
or
Buy a premium pack.

I've taken the liberty of doing the former and provided the pros and cons of each choice.
Check it out right here in my vid below.

Optimizing Vanessa - The Fire Valkyrja

If you'd care to look at the monster discussion in-game and other forum threads, whenever they talk about Vanessa, majority of what you'd be seeing are the "BUFF HER PLEASE" comments.

You'd see a lot of people saying that she is just a monster that you put in arena just for her speed leader skill. A lot of people have also been posting ideas about what kind of "buffs" may be done to buff her with enough balance to the game.

However, my personal opinion says that I should beg to differ.
Here are my key points as to why I already think that Vanessa is just fine as she already is:

  1. She is one of the few with 33% Arena speed lead skill. Arguably one of the main reasons why you bring her along.
  2. Her S1 and S2 already do more than decent contribution. These skills can hit somewhere around 4K for S1 and around 8K for S2.
  3. Her revive is already decent as it is. There are a lot of arguments saying that her revive is only comparable to a Nat3 monster. However, I do believe that her revive skill I believe must be used with proper tempo.
A lot of people may disagree with me but let me ask you this...
Have you ever considered building your Vanessa as a hybrid instead of a full blown HP Tank?
Because if you haven't, I strongly suggest that you do try it out.

As a hybrid, there becomes more significant use for her. To enumerate:
  1. She maintains being a decent tank but gets to have some fire power in the game. I placed runes with ATK% substats. Why? Her base attack is decently high enough already. Make use of it.
  2. With enough ATK substats, she takes the role of a follow through hitter. Imagine having Vanessa hit surviving targets right after a Lushen amputates. That's right, you get to kill one and have an automatic chance to kill a second one.
  3. Giving her a certain boost in speed makes her do more. Specially if she has violent runes, her skills cooldown faster so she gets to debuff and have the revive ready more often.
  4. She gets to be more flexible and can be used for other situations apart from arena.
So, with all that said, I guess I made some of my points why I'm wondering how come people are whining that Vanessa "needs a buff".

I'll leave this for now. See you on my next post.

3 Digit Milestone. Highly appreciated guys.

It's been more 9 weeks since I began uploading Summoners War videos on my youtube channel. And recently, I kind of felt like achieving a milestone when I visited my page a few hours after I posted my last video.

It could be quite hard to get audiences to watch your content in youtube and with this video getting 430 views in 8 hours is something of an achievement. I know it might not be luxurious yet, but hey, it's something that makes me feel good with what I'm doing.
In line with that, I'd like to say thanks to all the viewers out there for their interest and support. I promise to make more videos in the upcoming days.

Season's greetings to you guys. Happy summoning.

Summoning Session using ToA Hard Rewards November 28 2016

It's funny how you get lucky when you weren't expecting anything. I have been quite busy in the past few days with work. And as I decided to make another summoning session video for myself as a start. Now I wasn't really expecting to get any Nat 5's today, but as luck would have it, I did.
Here's the short video of how I got this pretty Hell Lady here...

And here she is. No runes, not awakened, no nothing. LooooooooooooL....
I can't decide how I'm going to rune her at the moment as I lack maxed up runes.

Summoning with Rewards from ToA Normal November 15, 2016

Have you ever done a summoning session with a lot of failure towards your excitement?
Well, if you haven't, then here's mine. The criiiiiiiiiiiiinge, oh the cringe. LooooooooooooL

Sunday, November 13, 2016

For me, this seems to be accurate. What do you guys think?

So I just had some shower thoughts (no, not pervy ones) regarding how a Summoners War player sees most days... And in order for me to present to you my thoughts (again, not pervy ones), allow me to do that in the form of this rage comic.
I do hope you get a laugh out of it 'coz I did. LooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooL
Also, check out my Summoners War Videos here at my youtube channel. Feel free to like, share, and subscribe. I hope you enjoy and as usual, I'll see you on my next post.

Anti-Thesis List of Essentials for a Giants B10 Speed Team

If you have been playing for quite some time now and if you have been hunting runes at the Giants B10 Dungeon, it is quite possible that you may want to speed up your rune farming process. This is where a speed team comes in handy.

What's a speed team?
Typically, a run would take about 3 minutes on average. A speed team can finish the same dungeon in about 90 seconds or less

So what do you need?
IMO, I believe there could be 2 approaches here:

  1. CC-Dotter team- A team comprised of quick acting speed buffer and speed debuffer paired with Continuous Damage dealing monsters. I'd highly recommend the use of the Orochi as lead, with Bernard, Shannon, Akhamamir, and Mav.
  2. Speed Nuke team - A team composed of an attack buffer and hard hitting AOE monsters which can wipe everything within a turn or two. Commonly, you'd see people using a Lushen lead, with Shannon or Galleon as buffer, and then other nukers such as Akhamamir, Taor, a second Lushen, or even a pair of Tarqs.
What are the requirements?
Obviously, what you primarily need is enough speed (aroud 190 or higher total speed for each monster) to out run the boss. And of course, speed tuning. You'd definitely want your buffer to move first before your hitters. Second, you'd want enough accuracy for the CC team, or enough firepower for the Nuke team.

I hope this helps. If you'd like to see some videos of it in action, check out my sample giants b10 speed team right here below.
I hope you enjoyed reading and watching.
'Til then, I'll see you on my next post.

Anti-Thesis Summoning Session for Yotat... Sarry bro for the pulls.

Alright, I'm quite sorry for the 10-day-long absence. I had some personal matters to attend to. But to start it all up, I'll be doing a summoning session for one of my guildmates here at the global server.
Shout out to all my guildies and the people at Ch 143.

Sample run of an All-Farmable Dragons B10 Team

A friend requested that I make a sample video for a Dragons B10 team. So here I am doing that.
On the cast is Veromos, Belladeon, Darion, Spectra, and Shailoq. I hope you enjoy.

Anti-Thesis All Farmable Giants B10 Team

As promised on my previous video, here is a list of monsters which all newcomers to the game can easily acquire and use for the various Cairos Dungeons, Giants, Dragons, and Necropolis.

Giants B10 Team
The monster team you need here needs only simple synergy. The boss attacks with an AoE left hook punch that can easily wipe your team out. But not to worry, with the right team and the right runes, you'll be able to start hunting superior runes to boost your monster performance.
On this list of monsters are:
Bernard - Wind Griffon
Shannon - Wind Pixie
Belladeon - Light Inugami
Darion - Light Vagabond
Konamiya - Water Garuda

Why does this set-up work?

It's because:
  1. The entire team has synergy, meaning to say that their skills complement each other's skills in order to defeat the Water Giant Boss. Bernard can reduce armor and attack and boost the speed of the entire team. Shannon put glancing hit debuff on the boss, puts slow, and buffs the attack and defense of the entire team. Belladeon puts on reduce armor, removes the attack buff on the boss, and is the "Big" heal of the entire team. Konamiya cleanses (removes all debuffs on the team) and is the "small heal" for the entire team. Lastly, Darion puts reduce armor debuff and reduce attack debuff on the Boss, and of course reduces the entire damage taken by the entire team with his passive skill Knighthood. If you may observe, the skills of the team members reduces the offensive power of the boss and increases the survival chances of the entire team.
  2. It is easy to put all of their skills at maximum levels. Pixies, Vagabonds, and Garudas may be purchased at the magic shop. Also, they are easily acquired from summoning with social points and unknown scrolls. Lastly, these three have Secret Dungeons on almost all elements. As for Inugamis and Griffons, they food you need to level up their skills can be acquired from summoning using social points and unknown scrolls. Also, there are Secret Dungeons as well. And they drop from grinding in scenarios.
  3. The team can survive the Giants B10 dungeons even with only 5✰ runes upgraded to +12.
How to rune them.
Would you believe that this team would survive even if all of them were given all energy 5✰ runes? As long as you make all of the runes +12, the monsters would be able to meet the minimum requirements for them to survive and finish the Giants B10 dungeon even in auto mode.

What are the minimum requirements?
The minimum requirements for this team to survive is quite simple. All of them just need to have a total of 150 Speed, 13,000 HP and 700 Defense. These values are not that hard to achieve. You can simply put in all energy runes (speed, hp, hp on slots 2,4,6 respectively) and viola, you have a working Giants B10 team.

I hope I made these satisfactorily clear enough for all of you who would take their time to read this so that you won't go like

Thanks for reading. Happy rune hunting. And I'll see you on my next post.
